(C.A.P.)
Champions
Academy
Preschool
(C.A.P.) is
a
program
that
encompasses
the
educational
knowledge
to
develop
the
entire
child.
It
has been
developed
with the
belief
that
children
need to
be
productively
active
while
learning.
C.A.P. is
located
in the
preschool
center
at the
Champions
Academy
facility
and has
the
physical
space
and
engaging
venue
where a
child
can
flourish
in all
three
areas,
cognitive,
social
and
physical.
There is
tremendous
research
backing
the
effectiveness
of
learning
through
an
active
and
constructive
environment.
C.A.P. is
headed
and
taught
by a
California
credentialed
teacher
with a
masters
degree
in
education
and an
emphases
in early
childhood
development.
Children
need a
loving,
safe and
structured
learning
environment
to
enable
him/her
to
function
and
learn at
a level
in which
each is
capable.
Children
learn
and
develop
at
different
rates
and
through
various
processes.
By
introducing
early
childhood
developmental
skills
at the
appropriate
time in
a
child’s
development,
C.A.P.
provides
children
the
ability
to
flourish
at
his/her
own
rate.
Through
modeling
and
careful
guidance,
each
child in
the
C.A.P. program
will
have the
opportunity
to learn
using
different
approaches.
The
classroom
time is
set
aside as
a time,
which is
very
structured
and
hands
on.
There is
an 8:1
current
teacher/student
ratio to
enable
valuable
teacher/student
learning
time.
Each
child
will
have the
opportunity
to learn
the
necessary
Kindergarten
readiness
skills
through
songs,
finger
plays,
peer
learning,
teacher
modeling,
arts,
crafts,
fine
motor
activities
as well
as small
group
phonics
and math
based
lessons.
