Competitive gymnastics is challenging, exciting and rewarding. It builds muscles and character as it requires very high levels of dedication and all-round fitness, including stamina. In addition, gymnasts have the pleasure of being involved with a team. Unlike typical team sports, however, one athlete’s performance does not directly affect the performance of another. Excepting the rare team competition, gymnasts compete as individuals and are directly responsible for their own performance. This allows for a different sort of connection between teammates and coaches.

Under the direction of our Program Director, 1996 Olympic silver medalist and 5-time World Gymnastics Champion, Jinjing Zhang, Champions Academy has produced numerous state, regional and national champions every year since our inception in 2006. We are very proud of the excellent results we have achieved, and most of all we are inspired by the dedication, hard work and amazing spirit of our young athletes and their families. You are true Champions!

Team participation is by selection and invitation only.  For new competitive gymnasts (not active members of Champions Academy) who are interested in joining the team program, we offer risk-free trial week for assessment and evaluation. Please contact us for more information.
